PROS:

• Can accommodate more that one image that rotates
• Simple text titles (and subtitles) can be displayed
• Easy to program buttons
• Has significant parallax motion which can be eye-catching
• Has a place to load a special image just for mobile

CONS:

• Can appear empty when page first loads.
• Can slow the home page load and the site
• Some best practices indicate that users do not take the time to move through slideshows
• Can be tricky to manage on very large and very small screen sizes

Above is an Advanced Promotion Grid module

PROS:

• One simple image
• Simple text titles (and subtitles) can be displayed
• Easy to program buttons (can be multiple buttons)
• Has very subtle fade0in motion
• Stretches wide well
• Loads very quickly quickly
• Can also do multiple images

CONS:

• Does not have a separate image just for mobile (but this may be able to be programmed)

Up to three across can be added. Can also be mixed and matched such as two side-by-side stacked on top on a single wide image.

• One-Many simple images
• Simple text titles (and subtitles) can be displayed
• Easy to program buttons (can be multiple buttons)
• Has very subtle fade-in motion
• Stretches wide well
• Loads quickly
• Multiple images stack on mobile

CONS:

• Does not have a separate image just for mobile (but this may be able to be programmed), but images do stack once the screen size gets small enough

Above is a Large Image with Text module

PROS:

• One simple image
• Simple text titles (and subtitles) can be displayed
• Easy to program buttons (can be multiple buttons)
• Has visually appealing parallax motion
• Loads quickly

CONS:

• Does not have a separate image just for mobile (but this may be able to be programmed)
• Does not stress ultra-wide without revealing white space
• Text box is white and can interfere with image (but opacity can be adjusted with some minor coding)

Above is a Hotspot Image

PROS:

• Loads quickly
• Allow for Amazon-like shopping experience with pulsing hotspots
• Can point to a single product (see MA and V above) or to an entire collection (see C citrus above).
• An image could be made with a grid of products underneath a larger hero product.

CONS:

• Main hopspot image has to a large square, however, the main image could be built as a grid with one larger image and a row of smaller grids images below. Also, image size could possible be adjusted with some code modifications .
• The hotspot subgraphic has to appear not he right or left.
• Any text would need to be built into the image in Photoshop.
